A creative, studio-based approach to music education.
East Van Music Lab is a creative, community-focused music studio in East Vancouver and online, offering private lessons, band programs, and studio experiences for adults and youth. Founded by award-winning educator, producer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Simpsonelli (Simpsonelli Productions), EVML is built on connection, creativity, and community.

Michael brings over 25 years of experience teaching guitar, drums and bass to students of all levels. He provides a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment rooted in strong personal relationships and positive mentorship.​

Sacha Levin lights up the room with her energetic teaching style and deep experience on djembe, congas, cajón, and other percussion. Her private and group classes bring rhythm to life for kids and adults alike, creating a fun, inspiring space where everyone feels the beat.

The studio is closed on weekends.
