About East Van Music Lab
A unique, creative, personalized approach to music education
East Van Music Lab is a curated, boutique learning space offering music education, band programs, and professional studio experiences in East Vancouver and online. Founded by award-winning educator, producer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Simpsonelli, EVML is built on connection, creativity, and community.
Michael brings over 25 years of experience teaching guitar, drums, bass, and ukulele to students of all levels. He provides a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment rooted in strong personal relationships and positive mentorship.

We're also thrilled to welcome Sacha Levin to the EVML team. Sacha is a passionate percussionist and group facilitator offering private and group classes in hand drumming for both kids and adults, adding a dynamic new rhythm to our growing creative community.
